Super trendy for supper. It was full but they found us a table anyway, that was nice because we didn’t have reservations. The food was pretty good: carpaccio, tacos and vegan key lime pie. Great terrace. Salad Herzog with wild mushrooms (18eur) was delicious. Unfortunately, prices are too high as everywhere around Lenbachplatz.

Simply super and consistently "Happy" ... Regular guest for years ... there is nothing more to say ;-)

Best bar in Munich by far !! Super nice staff, good wine, great shots. The location and ambience are hard to beat. If you are in Munich and want to go out in the evening, it is definitely worth a visit. The food is a bit expensive, but very good.

I loved it there, the best part was the service. The food there was very good too. I would recommend it to everyone, for all young people, this is the best place.

What do you want to say Great crew! Ice-cold beer in ice-cold steins that are unfortunately not always full. Food a bit expensive but also really tasty. Best tartare I've ever eaten. Reservations strongly recommended, as it is right in the center. Also try the chips with truffle majo 👍🏻

My all best bar in Munich. Cocktails are great, deco is great, people are great. I love it here.

Super cool bar with a nice outdoor lounge area. Service was super friendly, hard-working and fast. Nice atmosphere, with cool music. Conversation requires a certain volume - but hardly disturbs. Gladly again

Drinks and location were good, but the wait staff ignored them when they wanted to reorder drinks or wanted to pay for them.

Great, good food

We were not asked for 1.5 hours whether we still wanted a drink or food. When we wanted to pay, we were only told to use a card. So I asked why? The nice lady said: That's the way it is. Then I asked why I got such an outrageous answer? You: because it would be a stupid question. Aha .... what? Arrogant rude waitress. I am very astonished at such behavior and I find it absolutely wrong.

The tables from the bar were cleaned immaculately and the seating was deeply comfortable. The correctness of the staff is really impressive. The bar is always nice and we had a nice afternoon here. I usually didn't want to share the dessert with my sister. We have learned something from this and will order a dessert next time per person.

Modern restaurant and bar. You can both sit and stand. The staff is very friendly and attentive (no long waiting times until you are noticed). Cocktails are great. Not too cute and not too strong either. I can only recommend the food. I particularly liked the eggplants, but the potato chips as a snack with the drink also stand out clearly from others. We didn't have to wait long for the drinks and the food either. So only recommendable.

Kitchen has changed a lot, it used to be a very hip place with upscale food. Now, while the food has good quality it is fairly boring, the menu has only gilled meat or fish with sides basically. Go there for drinks but not for a nice dinner.

A bit posh and usually crowded but the cocktails are just fantastic. Terrasse is terrific when you can stay outside.

Classy Resturant, and a great place to enjoy your weekend. Has a lively crowd. The staff was friendly and attentive at all times.

Drinks are average, bartenders are terrible. Let’s start with drinks. Herzog uses pretty good collection of quality alcohol, just as you’d normally expect from the bar in “above average” category. But quality alcohol doesn’t guarantee you good drinks. “Whiskey Sour” will be with the iceberg in your glass, served in “rocks” and without bitters (where would you put bitters if you have a truckload of ice anyway?); well, at least it is hand-shaken. “Old-fashioned” will be with bitters added to the mix, not to the sugar in the very beginning. And to top it off, you will have to ask for the glass of water - nobody will offer that for you. Couple of words about bartenders. First, your glass will be covered with fingerprints around the area where you’d normally place your lips. Want to have lemon twist placed with tweezers? Nope. Second, once drink is served, bartender will forget about you for the half an hour minimum. No visual contact, no small talk. Back-bar staff runs all over the place: in the back and in the front of bartenders, making this a big mess. In summary: doesn’t worth your time. But if you want to be a part of meaningless crowd waiting for the vanity fair - you’re welcome. Oh, Weinschorle would be your drink of choice.

Super nice upscale experience and decor, with a real cool setup. The tables are completely covered but keeps the heat in. Perhaps not completely desired for the summer as it may be too warm. Don't plan on enjoying much of a beer selection. Most people were enjoying a glass or bottle of wine. This is definitely considered more of a wine bar.

Herzog is a top location that I can recommend without any doubts. I was there for 2,5h on a Tuesday night, had some great red wine and ate the cauliflower at the bar. It tasted incredible! Very careful service by the cool guys. Great interior and fancy people there. Not cheap but worth every cent!

We were a party of two and the place was recommended to us by our good German friends. While we walked inside only a few tables were occupied and it was only 6pm. Once the guy in charge saw us though he said that the place was full and that we couldn’t have a table, even when we asked for a table for only one hour, to have a few drinks, he still said that the place was full. Seeing as though this has never happened to me before, and after looking at some of the other 1-star reviews on here; I can understand very clearly that the place has a RACIST management team and or racist guidelines to let people in. It’s very sad that at this time and age, you still encounter RACISM at its worst. On top of this, we looked at the restaurant’s online reservations, and there were slots available at the time we wanted and all throughout the night! Unbelievable. Would not go back to this place if I was invited for FREE!

On vacation in Munich and our 5 star hotel recommended this place. We wanted to have dinner around 10pm and the guy at the door said its too full. We did notice that he let others pass through and didnt ask if they had a reservation.... awkward. But by reading some other reviews posted here now we began to understand... Thank goodness most places in Munich are open to the international crowd;)

Great modern interior. Food and drinks were excellent.

The waiter was really realy nice and explained the different cocktails and the different sorts of whiskey. I had the rumtata 3.0 which was very tasty and I would highly recommend it.

Quite a fancy place but great food, great drinks and even better service with a relaxed attitude.

Fine Dining and Bar. The Bar area is very nice; good choice before starting the night. hidden place at the back of the bmw pavillon. Insiders only. The crowd are more the local hipsters. Food: Fine Dining. Well served. Higher prices. One starter two main dishes one glass of wine each, no desert no bottles and you pay 120€ (tip included). Two expensive for a normal dinner but worth for a date or special night out. For normal price food choose the Cotidiano which is just 20 metres ahead. And continue having a drink at Herzog. :)

Great restaurant, super nice and attentive service. The food was quite fast and the taste and the quality were excellent. It was also fancier food, which you do not get elsewhere. The price is a little bit higher, but the location, interior and quality of the food is fully justified, a real experience to dine there
